Just when you thought there couldn’t possibly be another Real Housewives franchise, Canada will be heading back into the fray with Real Housewives of Toronto, set to premiere in 2017.

Long rumoured since Real Housewives of Vancouver wrapped for good in 2013, RHOT is currently under production. No cast members have been revealed yet, though there are a number of “elite” Canadians who could fit the bill.

Corus Entertainment says that there will be six housewives featured on the upcoming reality show.

In a press release, Corus Entertainment states the show will be “an intimate look at the luxurious lives of the city’s wealthiest women, from their extravagant day-to-day escapades in Toronto to grandiose getaways to their exclusive colossal cottages in Muskoka – Canada’s playground for the rich and famous.”

Of course, there will also be drama.

“But not all that glitters is gold as these women reveal details about their relationships and family drama, including the highs and lows of living large in the big city,” concludes the release.

Here’s hoping these six women don’t end up hating each other, much like the former mavens of RHOV.

NOTE: An earlier version of this article stated that Real Housewives of Toronto will be broadcast on Slice. Corus Entertainment has not confirmed that. This article has been edited.
