Taylor Swift tops Billboard’s Top Money-Makers for 2015
To calculate the list, the organization calculated an artist’s cumulative sales (including record, streaming, publishing and U.S. tours).
The pop princess gained a majority of her earnings from her extremely successful “1989 World Tour,” which raked in $61.7 million.
Kenny Chesney came in second with $39.8 million in total revenue for 2015, earning just over half of what Swift did.
Canadian artists on the list were Shania Twain in 12th place with $14.4 million, Rush in 16th place with $12 million, Céline Dion in 25th place with $9.3 million, The Weeknd in 28th place with $8.6 million and Drake in 32nd place with $7.4 million.
