Man killed when truck and motor home collide south of Lethbridge

A 61-year-old man died in a crash between a motor home and a semi tractor trailer Thursday evening.

Milk River RCMP said it happened at the intersection of Highway 36 and Highway 4 at 5:15 p.m.

The man driving the tractor trailer died on scene and the two people in the motor home were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Traffic in the area is being rerouted. The detour will likely be in place for several hours, RCMP said at 10:36 p.m.

Milk River is approximately 100 kilometres southeast of Lethbridge.
