Winnipeg Blue Bombers add two players to their defense

WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers continue to renovate their roster ahead of next month’s training camp.

The team has brought in defensive end Adrian Hubbard and defensive back Arthur Williams. Both players are Americans.

Hubbard won back-to-back NCAA Division I championships with the Alabama Crimson Tide during his college career. He spent the entire 2014 season on the practice roster of the NFL’s Green Bay Packers after signing with them as an undrafted free agent.

Williams played two seasons at Grambling State University in Louisiana. He had 41 tackles, three pass knockdowns and a blocked kick in 22 games.

The Bombers open training camp on May 29. Their rookie camp is scheduled for a few days earlier.
