SALT SPRING ISLAND, B.C. – Police are investigating the death of a man on Salt Spring Island, B.C.
RCMP say officers responded to reports of a fight early Friday morning and found two men performing CPR on an unresponsive man.

The 36-year-old man was taken to hospital, where he died.
Police say the incident appears to be isolated and no charges have been laid.
The Independent Investigations Office has also opened a probe into the death.
The police watchdog investigates all police-involved deaths and serious injuries.
