A 54-year-old Toronto man faces public mischief charges after several bomb threats were made last weekend targeting the city’s subway stations.
Police say the threats were made between April 8 and 10 targeting the York Mills and Eglinton subway stations.
It is alleged the accused made telephone calls to the Toronto Transit Commission saying there were bombs at either of the stations.
The accused was arrested on April 10 after receiving a threat at the York Mills subway station.
Police say the suspect, identified as Aaron Finkler, was later apprehendeLibraryd at the Eglinton subway station.
He has been charged with five counts of public mischief and five counts of endangering life.
Police say the public was never in any danger and that the investigation is over.
