Over 40 fire fighters had to be called in to battle a fire at the Coast Capri Hotel in Kelowna early this morning.
Upon arrival, crews found heavy smoke showing from the top floors of the hotel, as well as in the hallways from the third to the seventh floor.

Fire fighters located the fire in the sixth floor stairwell and on the seventh floor with extension into an eighth floor mezzanine.
One fire fighter was taken to hospital with second degree burns, but has since been released. No other injures were reported.
All 358 guests had to be evacuated from the hotel. Arrangements are being made for people staying in the affected area of the hotel for accommodations in nearby hotels.
Fire officials are treating the fire as suspicious.
There is no damage estimate at this point.
