Despite her physical restrictions, Lindsay Hilton might be one of the fittest girls you’ll run into at the gym. She loves a good workout and tries to physically push herself as hard as she can every day.
The 30-year-old woman has become an Internet sensation after a short video of her working out was posted to the CrossFit OnSide Facebook page.
Despite being born without arms below her elbows or legs below her knees, Hilton hasn’t let anything slow her down.
“I’ve just been active my whole life,” Hilton told Global News.
“I think a lot of that comes from my parents, when I was growing up they never let me kind of get out of things or give up on anything,” she said. “They just treated me the same as my brother and sister or any other kid.”

Since the video of Hilton working out was posted online by Jenny Jeffrey from CrossFit OneSide last week, it’s had more than six million views.
“Obviously we know that Lindsay is pretty inspirational and amazing, but we had no idea it was going to get that kind of response,” Jeffrey said.
‘Nothing has ever held her back’
Hilton has always been an athlete. She used to play rugby in college and now coaches in her spare time. She also tries to go to CrossFit classes five days a week.
“She’s always been amazing, nothing has ever held her back,” said Jeffrey, who also used to play rugby with Hilton.
“At first, people would kind of be like ‘Wow, that’s amazing.’ But now, she’s just another member like everyone else, she comes in and does what everyone else does,” Jeffrey said.
Hilton is surprised by all the attention she’s been getting lately. Despite her amazing abilities, though, she doesn’t see herself as a hero.
“I’m not all that inspirational. I’m feel like I’m kind of just doing regular things,” said Hilton.
“It just maybe seems out of the norm for most people because when people think of somebody that maybe doesn’t have arms and legs or is differently abled in some way, they don’t think that maybe they are able to live a normal life. But I think I am just living a normal life or I don’t think of it as any special feat or anything like that.”
