Brookbanks Park assault suspect linked to another incident: Toronto police

Police say a suspect wanted for allegedly assaulting two women in the Brookbanks Park area of Toronto last month may have struck again and are reminding people to stay vigilant.

It is alleged a woman was walking her dog on March 5 around 9:30 a.m. in the Three Valleys Drive and Laurentide Drive area when she noticed she was being followed by a man.

Police say the woman’s dog started barking at which point the man turned around and fled the scene.

Authorities say the suspect’s description matches a person wanted for two separate assaults on Feb. 1 in the same area near Don Valley Parkway and York Mills Road last month.

The man is described as black, approximately 5’10” to 6′ tall with a thin build. He was wearing a blue, hooded bomber jacket, with an article of clothing covering his face.

He was also carrying a black briefcase in the latest incident.
