Woman sexually assaulted while two men watched: police

TORONTO – Police are asking for public help after two men allegedly watched a woman being sexually assaulted in downtown Toronto Saturday.

Police say a woman was walking in a laneway in the area of Church and Maitland streets between midnight and 3 a.m. Saturday when she was sexually assaulted by a man.

Two other males stood by and watched the assault take place, according to police.

Police describe the assault suspect as brown-skinned, approximately 5 feet, nine inches tall with a thin build and short dark hair.

The two others are described only as brown-skinned males.
