Police ask for help finding missing Rock Creek woman

RCMP are asking for the public’s help finding a missing Rock Creek resident who has not been seen for almost two weeks.

Colleen Sylvia Smith, 50, was last seen February 9 at 9:30 a.m.

She was reported missing after not showing up for work and has not been in contact with her friends or family since February 9.

“Police are very concerned for Colleen Smith’s health and well-being and friends and family report that it is out of character for her to be out of contact for this long,” said police in a statement.

She is described as a Caucasian female with blonde hair and blue eyes, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds and wearing glasses.

Police say Smith owns a blue 2005 four-door Chevrolet Cobalt with B.C. license plate 914WFB and is believed to be driving this vehicle.
