REGINA – The CFL’S 2016 schedule pits the Saskatchewan Roughriders against the BC Lions for the last regular season game to be played at Mosaic Stadium.

Riders start the season on a week 1 bye, but on Week 2 they will open their season at home against the Argonauts on Thursday June 30th.

“We are excited to officially release the 2016 schedule,” stated Roughriders President and CEO Craig Reynolds.

“It is a challenging process for the league trying to create a competitive balance while taking into consideration each markets availabilities along with the broadcast needs. They should be commended for their efforts.”
