Southeast District RCMP are searching for a man who escaped from the Dorchester Penitentiary on Friday.
Police say 29-year-old Jeffrey MacLean is believed to be driving a 2010 grey, four-door Toyota Corolla with New Brunswick plate number JCS 853.

The car was last seen heading north on the Royal Road in Memramcook, which becomes Route 106.
Police are warning people not to go near the car or MacLean if they see him.
“Given he assaulted someone and stole a car we’re advising the public not to approach him,” said New Brunswick RCMP spokeswoman Cst. Jullie Rogers-Marsh.
MacLean is believed to originally be from the Dalhousie, N.B. area.
He is described as a white man, with short brown hair and blue eyes. He is five feet 11 inches in height and weighs about 145 pounds.
Anyone who sees MacLean is asked to call 911 immediately.
