A Nova Scotia man is facing multiple charges after police found cocaine and a firearm following an investigation into threats made by phone.
Calvin James Ringer, 28, was arrested on Tuesday after RCMP received a complaint regarding threats made via cell phone that involved a firearm.
Officers located Ringer at a home in Shelburne, N.S. and arrested him for uttering threats.
Later that day, they executed a search warrant at the home and found a quantity of cocaine and an unsafely stored firearm.
Ringer is facing charges including uttering threats, unsafe storage of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession for the purpose of trafficking and failure to comply with a probation order.
He was due to appear in court on Wednesday.
RCMP say they are still investigating.
