It’s the end of the line for a Peachland dog that took part in a fatal attack on another pet.

The attack occurred on New Year’s day 2015 in Peachland when a presa-canario named Jake and a pit bull attacked and killed a small dog being walked by its owner.

A judge ordered that Jake be destroyed but the owner appealed.

The Regional District of Central Okanagan says the appeal has been denied and that Jake will be euthanized. As for pit bull, it was turned over to its owner with strict conditions.
