KELOWNA – A Kelowna woman is in hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries after she was stabbed in the stomach.
RCMP were called to the Gospel Mission in downtown Kelowna at about 11:30 Sunday night after the victim reported to staff she had been stabbed.
A witness told police the 38-year-old victim may have been in a fight with another woman.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene on a bicycle.
The injured woman, of no fixed address, is not fully cooperating with police.
Investigators will examine video from nearby surveillance cameras and are also seeking tips from the public.
