Nova Scotian production company says Nova Star Cruises owes it money

HALIFAX – A Dartmouth company says Nova Star Cruises owes it $6,000 in unpaid invoices.

Steve Dunn, the owner of Deep Blue Media, tells Global News that his company Deep Blue Media produced one video for Nova Star Cruises and was working on a second one when the province cut ties with it.

He said he was initially told that Nova Star Cruises was waiting for the final $2 million from the province and, once it received the money, it would be able to pay its outstanding bills.

Dunn says his last communication with Nova Star Cruises was in late October, adding his calls and emails have since have gone unanswered.

Dunn says he is looking into options to try and recoup the money he is owed and notes he is not ruling out legal action.

Nova Star Cruises has yet to respond to Global News for a comment.
