Six masked men enter Dartmouth home, assault homeowners

HALIFAX – Police are investigating after a group of six men forced themselves into a home in Dartmouth Monday night and assaulted the homeowners.

Officers were dispatched to a residence located in the 100 block of Mount Edward Road after a 911 hang up call.

Upon arrival police learned that a group of six men wearing masks forced their way into the home and assaulted the residents with a sensory irritant and then fled on foot.

The men are described as being black, wearing masks and dark clothing.

Police say none of the residents were injured.
