LETHBRIDGE – The BC Coroners Service has confirmed a 41-year-old Bellevue man was killed in a motor vehicle incident near Sparwood on Dec. 7.
Around 7:45 p.m. Steven Douglas Spearman was driving his truck south on Highway 43, about 1.6 kilometres north of Busato Road, when the truck left the highway and hit a tree.

Spearman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services are investigating the incident.
Road conditions were noted to be icy at the time
