SASKATOON – Rock 102 has teamed up with Saskatoon’s Care and Share program to make sure kids keep warm this winter. Last year, the “Coat for Kids” campaign gathered 1,800 coats.
This year, Rock 102 listeners contributed over 2,000 coats.
The winter wear was donated to 17 Saskatoon schools, making the walk from home to the classroom a little easier for a lot of children.
“If it’s cold in the winter time and they don’t have the proper winter wear then they don’t go to school and we want them to go to school of course to be educated,” said Shack from the Rock 102 Morning Show.
