Blue Jays World Series tickets go on sale today

TORONTO – The Blue Jays are trailing the Kansas City Royals 3-2 in the best-of-seven ALCS series but that hasn’t stopped the team from issuing World Series tickets.

The highly coveted seats finally go on sale Thursday morning at 10 a.m. ET. with single ticket prices varying between $160 to $1,400.

There’s no need to wait in line at the ticket box office as they can only be purchased by telephone or online.

However, Blue Jays fans should take note that the tickets are expected to sell out rather quickly. ALCS seats were snapped up in about an hour.

There will be a full refund if the team falls to the Royals.

The Jays staved off elimination Wednesday night after defeating Kansas City 7-1 in Game 5.

The blue birds are back in Royals’ territory for Game 6 on Friday.
