The 28-year-old driver of the Cruiser suffered serious injuries. He was pinned in the vehicle. Parkland Emergency Fire Services extracted the Edmonton resident from the vehicle. STARS Air Ambulance then flew him to an Edmonton hospital.

He was the only person in the Cruiser.

An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, but alcohol isn’t believed to be a factor.
