CALGARY – One woman was killed in a car crash on the Tsuut’ina Nation on Monday.
Emergency crews from Calgary and Priddis were called to Six Mile Coulee Road at around 6:30 a.m.

When they arrived, paramedics found a badly damaged hatchback lying on its side in a ditch.
The woman who had been driving the vehicle was found unresponsive outside of the car, and pronounced dead shortly after.

Paramedics also found three dead horses, which they believe died after being hit by the vehicle.
It’s unknown if speed or alcohol were factors in the collision.
