WINNIPEG — A Winnipeg food truck’s name has caught the attention of Food Network.

“For them to recognize us is massive,” said Roddy Seradilla, the owner of Pimp My Rice food truck.

The restaurant on wheels made Food Network’s 20 Clever Food Truck Names list.

“It was awesome,” said Seradilla, who had no idea his business was on the list until it was posted online.

This is the fourth year Pimp My Rice has been on Winnipeg streets. It specializes in Filipino food,

Seradilla said one of his ultimate goals is to appear on a Food Network show.

Other food trucks to make the list include San Francisco’s Curry Up Now, Arkansas’ Grillenium Falcon and Nashville’s I Dream of Weenie.
