Blanchet also said NDP leader Jagmeet Singh would have to "face" the fact that his decision to "ask for a divorce" from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau - in the form of withdrawing from the supply-and-confidence agreement - led to a surge of "momentum" for the Bloc in the final days of the campaign.
