Rich Abney, a sports anchor for CKPG TV in Prince George, is the latest reporter to get 15 minutes of viral fame.

It happened after news anchor Aileen Machell reported on three astronauts aboard the International Space Station taking the first ever bites of lettuce grown in space.

“Love it! Agriculture that’s out of this world,” quipped Machell after reading the story.
Abney responded by saying that “it seems like a better idea than eating food…”
Actually, you should probably just watch it.
The quip drew a Munchian look of horror from Machell’s co-anchor Camille MacDonald, but the reaction on social media has been more mixed.
It’s unknown whether Save On Foods defeated the Mothus Dawes Hotties later in the evening.
