Princess Charlotte’s First Official Portraits Are Adorable

A A

Today brings us the first official portraits of Prince William and Duchess Kate’s royal brood since the birth of Princess Charlotte — and they’re adorable!

The first photo released on Kensington Palace’s Twitter on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET shows the infant princess snuggled in the arms of her one-year-old big brother, Prince George, and was taken in mid-May. The photographer? None other than the children’s mother, Princess Kate:

Earlier today, reps for Kensington Palace (the official royal residence of Wills and Kate) tweeted that the portrait would be coming later today:

And an hour and a half later, at 5:30 p.m. ET the Palace released three more precious portraits also taken by the Duchess of Cambridge.

Check out a closer look of proud big brother Prince George smiling while holding his little sister.

And this one of the wide-eyed duo gazing to the side while sitting on the sofa in the family home.

And a precious photo of George kissing his younger sister on the forehead, captured by their mother.

If you’re looking for a way to celebrate the birth of Princess Charlotte, the folks at Kensington Palace recommend showing your affection by supporting a local children’s charity of your choice:

Back in August 2013 Will and Kate shared the first official snap of their new family, taken in the garden of the Middleton family home, after Prince George was born.
