HALIFAX – Three suspects were arrested after a van being pursued by police spun out of control and collided with two cruisers in Lake Echo on Thursday.
Police say a suspect vehicle in an ongoing investigation was spotted near Glasgow Road, near East Preston. It appears the vehicle then sped east along Highway 7 towards Lake Echo with the police pursuing it.

The van then tried to turn onto Martin Lake Drive but failed to make the turn off Highway 7. It spun around and collided with the RCMP vehicles.
There were no injuries in the collision.
Two males and a female were arrested at the scene and taken into custody.
Police are not commenting on the nature of the ongoing investigation.
