TORONTO – Rap star Drake shook hands with Washington Wizards’ player Paul Pierce following Game 2 against the Toronto Raptors Tuesday night and local city councillor Norm Kelly didn’t like it one bit.
“Yo, @Drake. What the hell is this?” Kelly tweeted.
Drake, who is the Raptors’ global ambassador, is considered the celebrity face of the franchise and is often pictured sitting court side cheering the team during home games.
Pierce, however, has been labelled public enemy number one after he said the Raptors didn’t have the “it” factor prior to the NBA playoff series.
