WINNIPEG – Fans are counting down the hours until the Jets are back in playoff action for the first time since relocation.

The team touched down in California Tuesday and practiced at the Honda Center Wednesday.

Many Winnipeggers have already hit the road to start supporting the Jets as they get ready for their first away game of the series against the Ducks.

“I just love to give it to the fans from the other rinks and cheer on our Jets,” said Jets fan Bobby St. Laurent.

St. Laurent is travelling to Anaheim from Vegas first thing Thursday morning.

“We actually found some other Jets fans who were going, so we’re going to pre game at a local watering hole across the street from the arena and then we’re going to head to the game,” said St. Laurent.

The Jets will be looking for their first playoff win in franchise history Thursday when they face off against the Ducks.

Puck drop is at 9:30 p.m. CT.

“We’ve waited years for this and what Winnipeggers want is the Cup,” said Winnipeg mayor Brian Bowman.
