Two sent to hospital after Saskatoon crash

SASKATOON – A man is in hospital and charges are pending after a collision in Saskatoon Sunday evening. The crash just before 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of 22nd Street and Avenue P.

Police say a westbound vehicle on 22nd Street ran a red light and hit a vehicle going north on Avenue P.

The driver of the northbound vehicle, a 50-year-old man from Carrot River, was taken to hospital with what police believe are life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries. He has since been released.
