TORONTO — We’ve seen Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman and Jason Momoa as Aquaman.

On Wednesday, we got a look at Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor — and his famous bald head — thanks to Entertainment Weekly.

Eisenberg, 31, plays the villain in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which comes out next March, and will reportedly reprise the role in Suicide Squad, which is filming this summer in Toronto.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

“He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure,” director Zac Snyder told EW, “other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course.”

The role of Lex Luthor has been played by a number of actors over the years — from Gene Hackman in 1978’s Superman to Michael Rosenbaum in the Vancouver-shot TV series Smallville.

“Our Lex is disarming and he’s not fake,” Snyder told EW. “He says what he believes and he says what’s on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it’s all there.”

Eisenberg is best known for portraying Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network and for starring in the 2013 hit Now You See Me.
