The 72nd Golden Globe Awards brought the stars out to the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday night to honour the best in movies and television, as selected by the 87 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Before the five-pound trophies were handed out, stars walked the red carpet to showcase designer gowns, jewelry, clutches and tuxedos.

Leslie Mann and Naomi Watts showed up in yellow while Diane Kruger, Reese Witherspoon, Julianne Moore (in Givenchy Couture) and Fifty Shades star Dakota Johnson sparkled in silver.
