WATCH: Vote to help save the Lake Country Food Bank

LAKE COUNTRY — The Lake Country Food Bank is happy to be chock full of donations, but it doesn’t have the space to store them. The food bank is making due with cramped quarters, currently residing in an 800 square foot space in the back of the old Winfield school. But soon, it won’t even have that space, as the school district has the property up for sale.

The District of Lake Country has made land available for a new food bank, but more money is needed to begin construction. But there is hope some of the money could come from a online contest put on by Insurance Giant Aviva.
