EDMONTON – Two new community recreation centres – one in southeast Edmonton and one in the northeast – will open Nov. 27 and Dec. 15, respectively.
The Meadows Community Recreation Centre and the Meadows Library will open in the southeast on Nov. 27 at 5:30 a.m.
The centre will include a 10-lane, 25-metre fitness pool, two NHL-sized indoor rinks, outdoor baseball diamonds, trails and tracks, a fitness centre and library.
The Clareview Community Recreation Centre and Clareview Library will open on Dec. 15 at 5:30 a.m.
It will include an eight-lane, 25-metre fitness pool, seven multi-purpose rooms, Olympic and NHL-sized arenas, an indoor track, fitness centre, multi-cultural centre for new immigrant organizations, and library.
