Edmonton’s Go Centre recreation facility gets green light with fresh gov’t cash

A new recreation centre for basketball, volleyball and gymnastics got the green light Friday with a $14.8 million funding pledge from the federal government. “Any day you pick up a check for $14 million, you’re doing real well,” said Go Centre project founder David Dorward.
