REGINA – A Regina man is facing several charges after an assault in Regina Thursday night.
Police were called to the 300 block of Albert Street for a report of a man assaulting someone at a business. As the suspect left, he also hit a vehicle, causing damage.

The man fled the scene and was tracked by a police canine unit for around seven blocks until police were able to arrest him on the 500 block of Hamilton Street.

Thirty year-old Michael Lee Missens of Regina is charged with assault and mischief under $5,000.
Missens will make his first court appearance October 22nd.
