MONTREAL – A 22-year-old truck driver is lucky to be alive this morning.
At around 5 a.m. his truck overturned on the Cote Vertu access ramp to Highway 40 westbound.

First responders were forced to use the jaws of life to help free the driver from the cab of the truck.
Two hours later he was finally removed from the wreckage, concious and alert.

The truck from Ontario was carrying peat moss.
Police suspect the driver was going too fast for the turn.
