LETHBRIDGE- Police have charged a 12-year-old Lethbridge boy, in connection with the sexual assault of his younger sisters.
Officers were notified last month about the boy engaging in sexual activity with his 10-year-old and eight-year-old sisters. An investigation found the girls were assaulted multiple times between May and July.

The boy, who cannot be identified due to his age, has been charged with two counts each of incest, sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.
He has been released from custody on the condition that he not be in the presence of anyone under age 12, unless supervised by an adult.
He is set to appear back in court on August 27.
