CALGARY- A photographer is pleading for the safe return of a stolen hard drive and computer, which hold treasured photos from two recent weddings and a family reunion.
Amanda Ubell has been staying at the Stampede Park barns this week, where she is showing her horse at a competition. She says she realized the items were missing from her stall on Monday.
Ubell, the founder of Dare To Dream Photography, is absolutely devastated.
“How do you tell a bride that her wedding pictures are gone and that someone took them and she cannot get them back?” she cried. “They’re not worth anything to anyone else, but that was her dream day.
“How do you tell them that they’re gone?”
She hopes whoever took the hard drive and computer will return them, no questions asked.
“I will pay to have it returned safely with all the photos intact…I just need that hard drive back.”
Stampede security has stepped up patrols of the barn and helped do a search of the grounds, but so far nothing has turned up.
Anyone with information is asked to go to the Show Office at Stampede Park, or contact Ubell at 306-228-7310 or amandaubell@gmail.com
