The province announced plans for concrete median barriers to be built dividing a section of Highway 97 between Lake Country and Vernon.
The $5-million dollar project will span 11 kilometers, stretching from the Pelmewash Parkway exit in Lake Country to the Kal Lake intersection in Vernon.
Work is scheduled to begin this fall.
