CALGARY – NHLer Theo Fleury helped the Calgary Flames capture their first Stanley Cup championship in franchise history, and now he’s captured a joyful reunion with his teammates.
On Sunday, Flames fans celebrated the 25th anniversary of the team’s triumphant Stanley Cup win over the Montreal Canadiens.
Almost every member of the 1988-1989 squad came to Calgary to commemorate the win.
Amidst the celebrations, Fleury took to social media to post a picture of him with his pals.

Fleury’s ‘Oscar selfie’ – modeled after a popular picture snapped by Ellen DeGeneres at the 86th Academy Awards – shows him smiling alongside five former Flames.
The picture — posted on Saturday — shows Lanny McDonald, Jim Peplinski, Joe Mullen, Joel Otto and Al MacInnis.
Shortly after posing the picture on Twitter, Theo Fleury’s twitter handle was trending nationwide.
