Fatal ATV rollover near Togo, Saskatchewan

KAMSACK, Sask. – Saskatchewan RCMP are investigating a fatal ATV rollover that happened near the Manitoba border on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to a rural area west of Togo, Sask. at 4:50 p.m.

A 40-year-old male operator was found with no vital signs.

CPR was performed on the victim but he was later pronounced dead.

A 14-year-old ATV passenger was taken to hospital in Yorkton. Her injuries are non-life threatening.

RCMP believe alcohol and improper use of an ATV are contributing factors to the rollover.

The coroner’s office is assisting with the investigation.
