VERNON–Silver Star Road is the second worst road in the province, according to an online poll by the BCAA.
Last week, we told you about the people who work and live at the mountain resort who were snowed in, because road maintenance crews scaled back operations at the end of the ski season.

It seems now, that lack of maintenance has helped earn the road the second place ranking in preliminary voting.
Anybody can vote for whichever road in their area frustrates them the most, and comment as to why.
Silver Star wasn’t the only road in the Okanagan to make the list.
Westside Road in West Kelowna is sitting both at number 1, and at number 6, while 40th Street Northeast in Salmon Arm is number 3.
