Renovations on the existing building won’t be complete until the spring of 2015.

The expansion project features increased courtroom space, a pre-trial room, more office space and an underground parkade.

“Right now they exist in leased space, which is converted from office space, so all those issues of security and access and so on are compromised in that setting,” said Keith Henry, with Saskatoon’s HDH Architects.

Saskatoon’s Court of Queen’s Bench was built in 1958.
