Squamish Search and Rescue has been called out to search for a missing woman.
Daine Hammann, 69, was last seen at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Aug. 20, when she headed out for a walk near Squamish Valley Road, north of the airport.
“We had about 20 members show up yesterday, search the area,” Christy Allan with Squamish Search and Rescue said.

“We are now today in search period two, and we have called for mutual aid. So we do have other teams here in Squamish that are helping us to search for this woman.”

Allan said members from Pemberton, Lions Bay, the North Shore, South Fraser and the Sunshine Coast are helping with the search.
Hammann was wearing a white sweater and blue jeans, a shoulder tether with her cellphone, a visor and a Salomon walking pole.
