AJAX, Ont. – Police are seeking three suspects after they say an elderly couple was tied up with electrical wire in their Ajax, Ont., home during a home invasion.
Durham regional police say three male suspects armed with handguns barged into the unlocked front door of the residence (in the Rossland Road West and Westney Road North area) on Tuesday.

The homeowners, both in their early 70s, were ordered to sit down and were tied up with electrical cords while the men ransacked their home for about 90 minutes.
Police say the men stole computer equipment and electronics before fleeing the scene and the couple, who were not physically injured, managed to untie themselves and called police.
The first suspect is described as black with a light complexion, about six feet tall with a medium to large muscular build and a goatee, the second is black, about five feet 11 inches tall with a slim build and the third is black with short curly hair.
Investigators are trying to determine if the incident is a case of mistaken identity.
