Canada’s Brady Leman crashes out in ski cross final

TORONTO – Calgary’s Brady Leman crashed out in the men’s ski cross final Thursday as France swept the podium.

Jean Frederic Chapuis took home the gold medal, Arnaud Bovolenta captured silver and Jonathan Midol took bronze.

Leman finished 4th.

Montreal’s Chris Del Bosco failed to move on to the quarter-finals after finishing third in his heat, 17th overall.

Ontario’s Dave Duncan couldn’t get to the quarter-finals either, finishing 26th overall.

Canada will have another shot at a ski cross medal in the women’s event tomorrow morning.
