Two men are recovering from stab wounds and another has been arrested after a dispute involving a taxi in Vancouver early Sunday morning.
Police said two men flagged down a taxi at Hamilton and Davie streets in Yaletown shortly after 1:30 a.m.
As the men were getting into the cab, a fight broke out between the two victims and two other men who claimed the taxi was theirs.
During the fight, the two victims were stabbed, according to police.
The two men were taken to hospital with serious stab wounds, but are in stable condition.
A short distance away, police found the other two men believed to have been involved in the fight.
A 24-year-old man from Surrey was arrested and charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and two counts of assault causing bodily harm.
The suspect remains in custody.
