TORONTO – One person was killed when car collided with a transport truck on the westbound QEW near Walker’s line early Tuesday morning.
Halton EMS confirm the driver of the car was pronounced dead on scene just after 2:30 a.m.

As a result, all of the QEW’s westbound lanes were diverted to Guelph line for several hours but reopened just before 9 a.m.
The case has since been turned over to the Special Investigations Unit.
